UK residential property prices have been going up and up, in case you hadn’t noticed! And whilst that’s been great for people who already own investment properties, trying to make your way into the residential investment market right now is not a very good idea! UK commercial property investment on the other hand, is a much more sensible decision if you’re wanting to stay on your home soil. The best advantage with UK commercial property investment over residential investment is that they are completely separate. So if the residential market was to suddenly crash, the commercial market wouldn’t be affected. This is because there will always be demand for commercial property – companies need offices, shops need to trade and banks need to operate whether or not residential properties have just lost 50% of their value.
